About us

My dad was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with FLT3, NPM1, and DNMT3A mutations. He has undergone induction chemotherapy, two cycles of consolidation chemotherapy, gilteritinib for relapse, a MUD allo stem cell transplant, and gilteritinib for subsequent extramedullary and medullary relapse with subsequent remission.

I am his son and, with my mother and my sister, have been caregiving for my dad. I have also been taking detailed notes throughout this entire process and found that my notes, spreadsheets, and graphs helped provide an understanding of what things worked and did not work, see trends, and helped prepare for the future. After discussing it with my dad, we decided to put my notes and his story online so that others who are dealing with this disease can benefit as well.

We hope that the information on this site help bring you comfort and knowledge. We wish you all the best. God bless you.
